Moldie Oldie — Again?
But hey! I found this tucked safely away in the stuff piled up in my Notepads. When I see something I like I throw it into a Notepad or Workpad —- never know when it might come in handy as a quickie “blog” some night or day. This evening is it. I want to watch the action at the Olympics tonight, I like the skiing and skating speed stuff, very exciting. Bode Miller could beat Bonnie Blair as the one with the most medals won ever in the Games. Our country is smokin’ ! We are the BEST! But of course we always knew that, didn’t we? Har Har Anyway, this is it. Sentimental mush but I like it. I think we “seniors” are a softy kinda generation anyway, don’tcha think?

Senior citizens are constantly being criticized~~~ for every conceivable deficiency of the modern world, real or imaginary. Upon reflection, I would like to point out that it was NOT the senior citizen who took——
—-The civility out of behavior—-The learning out of education
—-The togetherness out of the family—-The refinement out of language
—-The dedication out of employment—-The prudence out of spending
—-The ambition out of achievement—-The service out of patriotism
AND, we certainly are not the ones who eliminated patience and tolerance from relationships. Maybe Tom Brokaw had it right when he called us “The Greatest Generation”
What can I say. It’s hard to be humble.

Oh Boy. Where the blazes is the comment I saw, read, approved thru WordPress’ email asking me to do that…….and now where the heck is it? I think WP is very nice, but doggone it, Blogger.com never gave me so much aggravation!! Grrrrrrrr.
During the war (WWII) secret radio stations started broadcasting in France to keep the people morale up, and the Germans couldn,t find half of them.
Well, the situation in Britanistan is now so bad with the immigrants taking over, (thanks to our corrupt Govt) and feelings running very high, especially among the Senior Citizens who remember how Great was Britain, we now have our first “secret radio station” called “The Voice of British Resistance” who broadcast the TRUE news about what is happening in this country! (That was a long sentence!). They tell us things that the BBC (Browns Brainwashing Corporation) do want us to know, and the lies that are printed in the papers are debunked by these brave people.
Oh for crying out loud! This WordPress thing is driving me cuckoo. I was just passing by this evening of 6 March just to check things out —- and I see a comment by that goofy guy from across the ocean blue! Now where was this comment when I was checking out that sort of thing at the *real* time of it?
I don’t know…..it’s (WP) all very fine and dandy and quite glitzy but I am almost convinced I like Blogger.com better. A simple platform for a simple blogger, ya know? Sheesh.
